Die field recording-Plattform radio aporee:::maps wurde 2007 von dem Medienkünster Udo Noll initiiert. Unter Verwendung des Bildmaterials von google earth erlaubt aporre:::maps Audioaufnahmen mit den Orten ihrer Entstehung auf einer Weltkarte im Internet zu verknüpfen. Das Trio Frank Berzik (Sax./Klar.) Anne Krickeberg (Cello) und Hubert Steins (Harmonium/Electr., Perc.) improvisiert in Konzerten zu Klängen der akustischen Weltkarte, die im Zufallsmodus dem Spiel der Musiker zugespielt werden.
aporee ::: maps is an internet project initiated in 2007 as a platform for field recordings by media artist Udo Noll. By using the satellite imagery of Google Earth aporre ::: maps allows users to implement field recordings and connect them on a world map on the internet with their places of origin. The trio Frank Berzik (sax. / clar.) Anne Krickeberg (cello) and Hubert Steins (reed organ/ electr./ perc.) improvises to the sounds of the acoustic world map which are added randomly from the internet during the concert.
